Déjà Vu

The Henry Jaglom film ‘Déjà Vu’, is the inspiration for Patina Wellness.

A family-style residence located in the wonderful neighbourhood of Kowloon City. This story revolves around this unshakable feeling of familiarity.
A mom hands her son a plate of corn on the cobs while the dad looks on proudly while manning the grill.

Kierkegaard

“To cheat oneself out of love is the most terrible deception, it is an eternal loss for which there is no reparation, neither in time or eternity.“
This film speaks loudly on destiny and taking chances — most especially following your heart. For the visuals I mirrored scenes staging them as memories of a mother thinking back to moments with her young children. These nostalgic sentiments gave way to a softer vision with vibrant tones hinting of happier times.

One of life’s major milestones is starting a family; the importance of creating and cherishing memories. All begin at home — from a baby’s first steps to their very first day at school.
